The Grade 8s and 9s were tops during August with all the nominees for Sports Star of the the month coming from these two grades
The following learners were nominated:
U15 Chess Team, who were crowned Gauteng Champs:
Mahima Vandayar, Rethabile Maboko, Zamokuhle Gama, Kimalda Chetty, Nompumelelo Dube, Kimberley Mugadza and Naomi Nakaonga
Nadia Calore who received Silver and Bronze Medals and a Merit Award at the FSKA World Karate Championships while representing South Africa.
The Fun Run top-10 Jeppe runners (seven of whom are in Grade 8 and 3 of whom are in Grade 9):Talia McPherson, Masego Ramatetse, Ciara van Tonder, Kasey Walters, Heather Holland, Danica Mellors, Lerato Tsoai, Balaseng Noko, Jade Oliver and Robyn Walker
The winner of the Sports Star of the month for August is Lerato Tsoai (Grade 8a). Lerato scored two consecutive hat tricks while playing for the u15A soccer team in their matches against Sandringham and Curro Aurora. She is also a keen runner and will represent the school in Athletics.
