Wits University once again acknowledged Jeppe High School for Girls as one of their Top Feeder Schools in 2013.
Sershin Naiker, the Wits Student Recruitment Officer, presented a framed certificate to Ms Gonçalves in assembly, recognizing the school’s excellence. He paid tribute to Ms Gonçalves and the educators for the role they play in preparing young women for tertiary education.
Fifty six of our 2012 matriculants (a third of the group) enrolled at Wits in 2013, with a number of girls studying engineering, accounting science, health sciences and education.
